2.0 PETROL ENGINE

The Elantra can set pulses racing, with a responsive 2.0 litre 16-valve 4-cylinder petrol engine that delivers 112/kW of power at 6,200 rpm and 192 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. Dual Overhead Camshafts (DOHC) boost performance, while Continuously Variable Valve Timing (CVVT) improves efficiency and reduces emissions.

6-SPEED AUTOMATIC

No matter how long or short your journey, a 6-speed electronic automatic transmission makes for easy, pleasurable driving.

WHEEL AIR CURTAIN

Air vents within the front bumper redirect air to the outside of the front wheels, cleverly helping to improve performance by reducing drag and air turbulence.

VEHICLE STABILITY MANAGEMENT (VSM) WITH ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL (ESC)

Vehicle Stability Management works with Electronic Stability Control (ESC) to give the Elantra more stability on the road, particularly when driving on wet or uneven surfaces.

RAIN SENSING FRONT WIPERS

Whenever moisture is detected on the windscreen of Elite models, the rain-sensitive wipers spring into action to make light work of the heaviest downpour – not to mention giving you one less thing to worry about.

ISOFIX CHILD SEAT ANCHOR

The Elantra is designed to keep Kiwi families as safe as possible, with three tether child seat anchor points in the rear and ISOFIX child seat anchor points on rear outside seats.
